Q: What should I do to get ready for my cleaning?
A: In order to provide the best cleaning possible, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys and other household items. Your cleaner will not know where your personal items belong and most customers prefer that they not go into your closets or drawers to put things away.
Q: How many cleaning technicians will you send to clean my home?
A: We usually send solo cleaning professionals, but there may be as many as 3 or 4, depending on the scope of the cleaning and the size of the home.
Q: Will the same crew clean my home every time?
A: We will do our very best to send the same team for every visit.
Q: Do you clean my entire home every time or alternate certain areas?
A: We clean your entire home (unless instructed otherwise by you) on every visit. See our cleaning checklist for details.
Q: Are porches, decks, garages, etc. included?
A: We generally limit our services to cleaning inside the home. If this is a service you require please let us know in advance so we can provide you with a price for adding this service to your cleaning.
Q: Do I have to provide any cleaning supplies or equipment?
A: No, your cleaning professional will bring all required equipment and supplies. However, the cleaner may use your supplies and/or equipment upon your request.
Q: Do I have to be home for my cleaning appointment?
A: No. Many of our customers leave a key or entry code and are not home while the cleaners are working.
Q: What if I have a security system?
A: It many be easier to have your alarm system off on the day of service but can handle disarming and resetting if requested.
About Our House Cleaning Prices and Payment
Q: Do you require a contract?
A: No, there are no complicated contracts. The only thing we ask is if you must cancel a scheduled appointment, that you do it at least 24 hours in advance. The cleaning professionals are paid for each home they clean and a cancellation without enough notice to reschedule another appointment directly affects the worker’s income.
Q: Are there any hidden charges or additional fees?
A: No, you will be charged the price you were quoted, no matter how long it takes us to clean your home. (Note: we are required to collect a sales tax of 0.0825%.)
Q: Do you clean the entire home or just the bedrooms?
A: We clean your entire home, top to bottom. See our cleaning checklist for details.
Q: I have one bedroom I don’t want cleaned. Do I pay the lower rate?
A: We use the number of bedrooms as an easy estimate of the size of your home. Typically, you will still pay the listed rate for the total number of bedrooms, even if we skip a room or two. But we can customize quotes as needed. Call us for more information.
Q: Do you take credit cards?
A: Yes, we accept all major credit cards (including American Express).
Q: Do I need to leave a tip?
A: Tips are not required but always appreciated. Any tips collected (even by credit card) are distributed 100% to your assigned cleaner(s).
